We are proud to offer two convenient locations to serve our customers better: Tamworth and Wolverhampton. Our Tamworth site is situated at Unit 154 Amington Industrial Estate, Sandy Way, Tamworth, B77 4ED, with easy access and no gates to delay you. In Wolverhampton, our location provides a handy option for customers in the West Midlands area. Having two locations means you can choose the most convenient pick-up and drop-off point based on your travel plans, saving time and effort. Whether you’re heading out on holiday, a family road trip, or need extra space for a move, our dual locations make it easier to get what you need, when you need it.
There are many reasons that hiring is more convenient. The amount of money saved is around £300 – £500 compared to buying all the equipment. Also finding space to store all the equipment is not always possible for people as they really do take up a lot of space. Also if you change your car, the equipment would more than likely need to be changed to suit and fit the next vehicle. Some people as well find that they buy all the equipment with good intentions of using it regularly, but then find that they do not use the equipment and it just stays in their shed or garage unused.
In theory if we have your fixings in stock we can do it same day but ideally we would like 2 -7 days’ notice. And in holiday times you really need to be booking as soon as you have your dates for travelling.
All we need to know is your car registration and we can tell you if there is a fixing kit available. In reality we can fit 99% of standard UK cars. Including Thule, Mont Blanc, Exodus, Halfords Advanced and Menabo
We do not require any payment at all up front, so simply pay on the day of your fitting by card, cash or bank transfer, whichever is best for you.
Please bring on the day of fitting proof of address which could be either your driving licence, or utility bill/bank statement.
Most of our roof boxes range from 450 litres to 470 litres in size. To give a comparison, an average car boot is around 420 litres in size so our roof boxes will literally give you more than another average car boot space. Please see this video which demonstrates how much you can fit into one of our 460 litres sized boxes.
Absolutely. You can either sit in the car while fitting takes place, have a wander around our yard with views over the countryside, or stand/sit inside our unit.
On average it only takes between 20 to 30 minutes to fit all the equipment, show you how to use it, and have you on your journey away
We hold £2Million Public and Products Liability Insurance to offer complete peace of mind.
Absolutely you can. We have lots of customers who travel around Europe with our equipment fitted and find the extra storage space extremely useful. Just be sure to notify the relevant ferry service or Eurostar due to the additional height of the vehicle with equipment fitted, but this is usually just an easy tick box option on the booking site.
We can indeed source equipment should you wish to buy from us, however, we have found over the years that once a customer has hired from us, due to the cost savings and convenience they no longer wish to look at purchasing. But should you wish to look at purchasing just let us know and we can quote you accordingly.
We pride ourselves in being the only major roof box hire company in the West Midlands to not take any security deposits. We fit top quality equipment and also spend time showing our customers how to operate the equipment in order to minimise the chances of damage occurring. On the very rare occasion that our equipment is damaged, we will first of all see if we can repair it ourselves at our unit at an absolute minimum cost to our customer. So far in over 1,000 hires we have never had a roof box get damaged beyond repair, but in this worst-case scenario we would simply replace the roof box at cost price to the customer, we would never look to profit on this unfortunate situation.
